The firm GMS Model Building specializes in the production of scale ship models and models of other technical objects, such as artillery pieces, cars, aircrafts, trains, oil platforms, and classical and modern buildings. We build both complete projects and components for them. We also stock a number of detailed plans, especially of Russian ships. Our customers include museums and private collectors from many Western European countries, the USA, Canada and the Far East.

A number of highly skilled craftsmen work at our firm, including a former world champion ship modeler. The quality of our products is the result of their many years of experience in marine and other modeling projects. The primary focus of our work is the precise scale duplication of the subject at reasonable cost.

Our craftsmen are experienced in the use of a wide array of materials, including the broad spectrum use of various sheet metals and soldering technologies. Our experience has shown that solder construction produces the maximal realistic effect, We also work in carbon, fiberglass, and plank on frame. We build working models with or without remote control capability.

Our models are light , durable and susceptible to a variety of custom manufacturing techniques we have perfected. Details are not sacrificed through a reduction in labor inputs. However, the price of our separate details isn't higher than in hobby shops, and their quality is excellent.
